Is my resume data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your details are saved only in your own browser storage (localStorage) so you can come back and edit later, and the PDF is generated locally by your browser. Nothing is ever sent to a server, and you can wipe everything instantly with the Clear button.
Is the resume ATS-friendly?
Yes. The PDF is built from real, selectable text rather than an image, which is what Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) need to read your resume correctly. The layout uses standard sections — summary, experience, education, skills — with clear headings so parsers can pick up your information reliably.
How do I download my resume as a PDF?
Click the Download PDF button. Your browser opens its print dialog — choose “Save as PDF” (or “Microsoft Print to PDF” on Windows) as the destination and save the file. This uses the browser’s built-in PDF export, so the text stays sharp and selectable at any zoom level.
Will my resume be saved if I close the tab?
Yes. Your resume is automatically saved in your browser as you type, so it will still be there when you reopen the page on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or pressing the Clear button will remove it.
Can I reorder my work experience and education?
Yes. Each experience and education entry has up and down arrows so you can move it earlier or later in the list, and a remove button to delete it. Most resumes list the most recent role first, so add new positions and move them to the top.
How do I add bullet points to a job?
In the Highlights box for each role, type one achievement per line. Each line becomes its own bullet point in the preview and the final PDF. Start each with an action verb and, where you can, include a concrete result or number.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On smaller screens the form and preview stack into an Edit / Preview toggle so you can fill in details and then check the layout. You can also download the PDF from mobile, though using a desktop browser usually gives the most control over the print dialog.
How long should my resume be?
For most people one page is ideal, and two pages is acceptable once you have several years of relevant experience. Keep your summary tight, focus on recent and relevant roles, and use concise bullet points rather than long paragraphs so the page stays easy to scan.
